La Liga documents an amateur women’s football league in majority run by and comprised of local Latin American community in south-east London. La Liga was founded by Burgess Park community ambassadors from Latin American Multicultural Group to create a safe space for women to play football, to address the inequalities women’s teams were facing when training. The players, coaches and organisers talk about how sport can be a way to connect communities and how La Liga can help with integration of newly migrated women into wider community.
